Custom export format
Applies to v1.7+ · ~4 min read · Export and manifests
Create the saved custom export format from a representative output template when the built-in manifest layout does not match your operation. Scheduled Routes keeps one custom export format at a time.
Create the format
-
Go to Data Setup → Manage Export Profiles.
-
If no custom format is saved, select New Profile. The screen opens as New Export Profile.
-
Select Choose Export Template and upload the example output file.
-
Review the mapping and the Preview Export Output. The AI assistant panel starts once a template is uploaded and can fix an unmatched column for you.
-
Correct any unmatched output columns, then select Save Mapping. This becomes the custom format available in Route Planner.
One saved custom format
Scheduled Routes stores one custom export format at a time. To change it, open the saved record from Manage Export Profiles, update its template or mapping under Edit Export Mapping, and select Save Mapping. The updated format replaces the previous version.
Use representative data
Your example should contain the headings and order you want in the finished manifest.
Use the format
Return to Export Manifests, choose the saved custom Export profile, select an output package, and select Export Manifests.
Profile names, file types, and onboarding
Export templates can be CSV, XLS, XLSX, or PDF — upload a PDF when the manifest drivers receive is a printed form rather than a spreadsheet. You can name the custom format whatever you like; by default it takes the name of the file you upload. The Onboarding buttons take you to this same setup screen and return you to the wizard when you're done. You can also reach it any time from Data Setup → Manage Export Profiles.
